Anyone play guts alignment and 3 deep 3 under?

I have never done it because if you use the Guts alignment rules or any 46 alignment rules, you are defending the formation rather than the field and ultimately formations can lead to different guys having outside deep third or flat/hook/curl responsibility and I just wanted to avoid confusion and blown coverage.

Consider the simple difference between a pro look and a twins look and where the corners align.

Going to a 353 cover 3 is simple enough.  IT still is going to take additional teaching but it provides you with a balanced "defend the field" defense unlike the 46 which defends formations rather than defending the field.
