I read Abe Lincoln Vamp Slayer on a whim.   It wasn't that good. 

I also saw most of the movie - movie much different then the book, but they usually are.

Both were kind of blah to me.   

If you were going to use a silly concept like that you should have tried to make it a bit humorous or campy.
