Merry Christmas!
« on: December 15, 2015, 11:44:10 AM »
Merry Christmas everyone.

Haven't been in on in a long time.   Had my first ever losing season and it was tough.  Parents were a nightmare from the start (right after we picked teams and were stuck with them - they ignored our team letter and their agreements and I was not allowed to boot them).  But the experience humbled me (which I needed) and I learned a lot from it.   Last 2 to 3 weeks were actually really enjoyable.

Our year end party was last week and I got some really great feedback from silent majority who said some really heartfelt things that made all the bad times worth it.

Other good thing to come out of it was I realized that I was addicted to this site and needed to get off for awhile and become a better employee.  I think if we were winning all the time I would have stayed on.

Anyway, everyone have a blessed holiday.

Dan

Thanks Dan and back at you !

Missed you Brother and I get it...sometimes taking a break from this place is a good way to re-energize. I've done it myself a few times...been a while though.

Glad your season ended on a high note.  :)

Sometimes you get so caught up in all the knowledge here and you want to try different things, all the while you forget what you believe in. The key is applying certain knowledge from this board and apply it to what you believe in. A break isn't bad at all. Merry Christmas to all!!
