Yes sir ... I even gave a little presentation (mostly about the snap) back at DWS2 in Vegas ... we had a year where I spent 2 weeks trying to get a QB/C combo that wouldnt flub every other snap ... so we gave up and went SHOTGUN ... 6&7 yr olds ... fun ...

YOU TOO!!! damn I thought I was the only coach that couldn't figure out how to coach the "worlds easiest snap" I felt like a incompetent buffoon! I could not run trap, I mean every freagin time in a game, NOT PRACTICE, I called trap the backs knee touched the ground Boom WHISTLE! plays dead, woulda been a 10 yd plus gainer, but nope its dead!

Backed the kids up 2 steps and walla everything was normal, no probs? scored 240 ish that year. Normally 240 aint all that great but considering this team avg closer to 100 it really was great!

Oh sure everybody hated it, it looked like single wing so no body liked it, it resembled double wing so every one hated it!

We had one of the wings go in crossing motion on most plays ... so they could kick out the DE or lead around the end for SWEEP (our best play that year ... go figure) ... had a great back that made us look better than we were ... 8-)

In practice I would line up the coaches (who by the way hated this O with a passion) at linebacker. I would tell them to point to the hole the ball carrier was going to. Hating the offense they really wanted to prove me wrong, so they were really really trying. Ide send my jet back behind my spinner, spinner usually opened to the motion gave or faked hand off to the jett back, then spinner faked a handoff to the counter back, have the spinner run with the "invisible ball" on the off tackle power play...meanwhile my trap back took the snap ran up and would hand the coaches the ball while they were pointing their fingers every which way...rinse wash repeat, half the coaches were wrong and they were standing up as adults over looking the 9 yr old O line....when they put hands on knees bringing their heads down to 9 yr old level...it was a complete guessing game unless there was a ball handling mishap...then they would all point their fingers at the ball carrier and say see its easy, see there he is, this ain't gonna work...assholes just missed 75% of the "shell game" guessing whos got the ball, 1 fumble and the whole O is dogshit! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHH! DW & wing T haters are all the same "oh that O is so easy to stop, I played against it once and we won ha hahaha"

anyways this was a good & solid offense TKO bsg & bst on powers, pulled both guards on counter, playside G&T on sweeps...JUST DO NOT HAVE THE BACKS CLOSER THAN 2 FULL STEPS BEHIND CENTER, ANY CLOSER THEIR LITTLE BRAINS CANT FUNCTION"

anyways sample play call,

1st whos taking the snap, blue left QB red = right QB
2nd whos going in motion left wing motion was lazer right wings motion was rocket, this also determined who was spinning

note: the spinner doesn't always take the snap

from this you can design an entire offense, sweep, power, counter trap, wedge, reverse and pass

red rocket
red laser
blue rocket
blue laser

Absolutely ... funny how ASS Coaches (left the T off on purpose) can really try to undermine you sometimes ...

But that offense is fun and easy with young kids ... knowing nothing about SPINNER we didn't even try that until mid season ... then it was only half spin ... I wish we had gone full spin all year ... but our POWER series was pretty solid and took us farther than we thought we would go ...
