10-1 vs Wing-T
« on: February 05, 2016, 03:19:23 PM »
How would you align vs a Wing-T with 2 TEs and/or 1 TE/1 SE? I am concerned about the trap/sweep/waggle series as well as the FB belly/down series into the SE and TE side, respectively. Thanks.
We are all in this together.
Simple is good . . . simpler is better.

Ugh here we go vs 100/900 vs straight 10
----------------$----m------------c
--------c----5--3-1-1-3-5-$
-------5-------0-0-#-0-0-6-
----------------------1------------4
----------------3----2

Vs red/blue
-------------$------m-----------c
-----c----9---3-1-1-3-5-$
----5---------0-0-#-0-0-6
-------------3------1-----------4
---------------------2

It's very easy to do base alignments

Corners have #1
Safeties #2
Mike has deep back to flow
*if there's more eligible receivers  check to special one of the lbs who dropped I to a gap takes #3 or #2 if it drops a safety to single high

So you want the ends on the same side of the formation like unbalanced?

The harder alignments comes when both hb's are on the same side of the formation.

We get into buddy and and buddy slide looks a lot vs 100/900...red and blue we can buddy if needed.  If they're really good we go 26 and auto blitz with x key reads and hat rules

zach I was showing, or trying to show, a good sized nasty split by TE, maybe I failed, TE split is 2 yds, and a wing another 2yds outside him. Point is to see defenses reaction.
