D Looks good.
« on: August 23, 2016, 12:59:53 PM »
Had an exhibition game against a decent team this weekend.  We won 16-0.  2 picks one for a TD.  Lots of pressure upfront.  While the kids have not completely committed to shin splinting, drilling it everyday in practice has them firing off nicely with their pads a good level.  LB's need to do a better job playing down hill and contain guys need to stay home.(luckily we have 2 blazers at corner to bail themselves out :o ).   Good first outing.  1st conference game this week against a spread team we match-up well against.  Will be fun.

Zach - thanks for all your help and work on the forum.

Lbs are too deep if they "need to play more down hill" lbs should be 1 arm length off the nearest downlinemans ass
