Yup, just as I suspected.  If you don't pass every once in a while, you get 11 defensive players in your backfield.  Yes, correct, our TE, WB and SE are no threat to anyone, they are forgotten.  I appreciate all of your views on this, keep them coming.

broker, FYI here was my ball carrier breakdown last game. We passed 3 times. 2 on extra points successful and once in the field was a broken play due to QB running wrong way. Se -1, Te 1. Se was called on the broke play. Below are running play carries. TE one was a screen pass. We won 47-0.  The FB and HB on my team also trade out. It adds some confusion on who guys should key on.
FB -8 - 5 TD on these runs. All 5 or 6 hole calls. 2 on 6 hole power calls.
Hb -4 - one TD on 5 hole call
Wb -5 - one TD on yoyo
Qb -3
TE -2
Se -1

Your SE, WB and TE have to be a threat somehow to make this offense work otherwise load up the box and key the FB.....

We are not having the success that we had hoped 1-3. But we are more competitive than last year. Our one win had 5 different players score, multiple positions. Our staff lacks experience. As the signal caller I find it hard to read the defense to identify where the ain't! Our passing game is 3 att. 3 interceptions.  My son is the QB and worked out during the off season at a QB academy. Very football savy and throws excellent for his age (10). But has thrown right into coverage 3 times. Very uncharacteristic for him. 12 perfect snaps has made us very disciplined. We average 25 yards a game in forced off sides. We have gone 2 games without a penalty. This wasn't the case during camp and first game.  When we needed a 3 count center snapped on 2. 24 cross and 24 have been effective. Fb's continue to run straight up and hold the ball like a loaf of bread. I work to break this daily. This past week they both fumbled and stalled drives.  33 Quick gets us 3 yards and in our big win got us 80. We have tried to option off the base but qb's have made awful decisions. Pitch when you should keep and vice versa. Our team struggles to get the edge. 45 Right kick has performed but also gets negative yards from crashing DE. It appears that the D-Line pinches and gives us fits. We also run a trap.  I am determined to get the pass going. I now have a SE and WB who can catch. Our FB's also catch good out of the backfield. Our head coach wants to change it up in a big way. I have pleaded with him for more time. I look forward to next year when our 4th graders are the upper classmen on a 4-5th team. I feel like the foundation is poured for success. I feel like I can look all the parents in the eye and explain how much better their ball players are. But success is measured with wins. Traditionally our small town has struggled in football due to a large religous population that does not believe in competition. there is also a competing Pop Warner league that may be getting better athletes. Our league is based on equal playing time. Our bulk of the team is made up of middle to upper class very nice, well educated boys. We lack the nasty that the competition brings. we are easily intimidated. I do not understand why. I guess it is something we will deal with throughout their playing career.  I refuse to blame the offense. I need to understand play calling better. How does someone that knows this offense see whats happening on the defense? From the field level I struggle counting the box and getting a play in. I believe the kids are enjoying themselves despite the losses. I want it bad for them to win. 3 games left. Back to work. I appreciate this forum and the support.

Count the box from OT to OT and about 4 yards deep. -i think- lol
Under 4- run inside
5- run in and out
6 or more run outside.
