Stick with the manual. There will be very little you will need to improvise.

Get the install DVD's from clark and ESPECIALLY the powerpoint.

That powerpoint alone is worth the price of all of it together. I don't usually shill for people...but in my opinion the powerpoint is the single greatest piece of football documentation on the planet.

Power Point is a must. If you don't have money for install and power point...just get the power point.

Why wait until next year?
You can install the base plays in two practices!
Change is Inevitable, Personal Growth is optional, choose wisely.

Coach my thoughts on this are from hind sight.
If you going to use the offense next year I would start working on some of the position coaching techniques with your offense this year.
For example, coaching up the full back. I would go ahead and get necessary pvc and learn and teach the drills
Coach up the receivers using the DC's drill or Mahonz's drill. But learn to teach these guys to catch.
Teach you QB the passing drills... etc.

The biggest thing for me at the time was learning the offense. Then how to coachem up. The O line was easy for me from years of experience. But the other skill positions I had trouble with.
If you are able to coach up the postions this year, you will be able to walk out on the field coach with a smooth and confident delivery..... ;)
