Cameron Cross came to us after our 2nd game of the season. Immediate impact player. Very special kid.

Rushing
20 Carries - 185 yards - 1 TD

Receiving
34 receptions - 886 yards - 12 TDs

Special teams
8 KOR - 282 yards - 3 TDs
2 Punt Returns - 53 yards

Defense - CB
48 tackles -  5 for a loss
1 sack
5 Ints - 153 yards - 1 TD
2 forced fumbles - both recovered by him

Fantastic kid who is always smiling. Life has thrown some really shitty things his way and he keeps pushing through.

He is 5'9" 165lbs. He picked off a jump ball to a 6'8" TE that left the giant on his knees baffled.

Im pushing hard for him. Every business card I've grabbed from a college coach at a glazier clinic has gotten an email with his stats, a character reference and highlights.

I've had a couple calls from JUCO teams but I'm hoping when the quiet period ends we can start pushing higher. His size is his biggest hindrance to recruitment.

Hows his speed?
We have a kid here who is about the same size but can absolutely fly....hes starting to get interest from 4 year schools. If he has speed and can get that noticed along with his ball skills itll help. If hes a Jr get him on the camp circuit it will go a long way.

He was one of the fastest kids in the conference. He is a senior this year so it's going to take some effort to get his name out there.

The good thing is that I keep business cards from glazier clinics so I have a nice batch of guys I talk to fairly regularly. Im going to attempt to utilize those connections for him.

Film from hudl?

Make it short and please no music

First 3 plays make them amazing show his versatility. Show plays where his size isn't a factor.
Show toughness plays as well even if its hard yardage for 4 or 5 yards maybe a 3rd and whatever he buries his head and gets the first.

College camps early and often. they aren't that expensive except for the travel. weight room. coaches when they meet a player will shake their hand while putting their other hand on the kids shoulder checking for muscle and they will also feel biceps, they sneak in stuff like that.
When he goes to a camp and they do height, have him up off his heels and have him take a deep breath and hold while they check height. You'd be surprised what a deep breath can do for height.

Other stuff is self explanatory.

If you need any other help PM me ill give you my number
