We use it in high school.  Our Fullback scored 11 tds in 4 games with it.

Yep, we ran it in HS last season too.  You have to, IMHO, use it more judiciously than at lower levels, but it's also has big play potential.   Our FB had several wedge runs of 25 plus yards.  Had one of 60 where he actually stayed in an intact wedge the whole way, but it got called for an aiding the runner call.  Still netted 30 on the play.

We're a DW program and we run wedge quite a bit at the 7th-8th grade level. Our high school program also uses it some. Besides being a very effective play, we also find that many of our opponents over-react to it. ISO-type plays were particularly effective against teams that tried to submarine us.

I found wedge passing helped a lot wish i did more, if you run a lot of wedge ide see lbs creep up the front changed a bit, last season ide run jet when i saw that, ran wedge pass once for a homerun, probablly shouodve done that more
