Left 48 YoYo
« on: September 02, 2010, 01:22:49 PM »
I'm installing this play tonight and was pondering what to do with the snap count. Left tells everyong it's on 1 which is what I have taught. Manual says snap on the WB/QB tap.

I think I'm going to screw my line up if I go on 2.

Guess I could call it a 48 YoYo Toss and have the WB read the block??

Just thinking out loud here.

Good idea!  I'll change the name of the play to "48 Toss Yoyo".  I have been tinkering with having the QB lead on"Toss" as optional anyway.  For example, running "36 Toss" with LG pulling but QB rolling out on sprint action versus lead blocking.  I can run a "Pass Right Flea Flicker" off this.

That's what great about this offense. Possibilities are endless and easy to implement.

I have had a really hard time sticking to my base plays this last two weeks, but we know them and know them well.

Thanks
