Coxbox Clinic?
« on: August 28, 2011, 02:00:03 PM »
Just asking if anyone would be interested in a clinic w/ Coach Cox? I'm having a youth clinic next season and working on the ground work now. How many people would be interested coming if he's one of the speakers or main speaker? I have a few that said they would come and speak. All of them have been on my show before. Just throwing this out there because I have to work on it now to be ready next season.

I'd be interested if he was demo-ing 521 defense.  Also time and location may play a factor.  Maybe I make my 1st trip to DC?   :-\

A youth clinic has already been approved and the location. The thing is that I was going to ask coaches that have been on my show to speak at this event. Coach Cox was one and I was wondering if there was any interest in him speaking. When the season is over I will post the guest and topics. The event will be two days and I'm working on a field to have some field work added. Pending on how many people would be interested a private bu maybe used to transport all of the coaches to a local HS to do the field work. A poll will be posted of guest so all of you can pick who you would like to hear. If there isn't enough people willing to travel another option will be set up as well. I have no help so I'm working on it now.

Dave Haul your butt to the location and Speak my friend!!

Just saying.

Big B ask if you can record the sessions and perhaps you can try and cover costs by selling them?

Just thinking!

 ;) ;D

It can go down. Maybe I can set up a youth online clinic with him and a few other coaches. I have to see how much it cost and get the info out to everyone. This has been something that have been talked about among a few coaches that have been on my show. I like the idea because it saves money in travel and you can see the items str8 from the CPU with the coach interacting with the coaches. I just don't want it to be like the Glazier idea. They came up with it 1st and I don't want to ride their idea.

I will check today to see how much it will cost and what type of line up would fit this session so it would be worth while for all youth coaches.
