Is the Mullen / DLS match up a go next year? Would be interesting to see how a top flight Colo program matches up with the big time. If I had to guess....not well.  >:(

No disrespect here Mike but Mullen is going to get ripped by DLS.

Off topic slightly: I believe the QB from De La Salle has committed to Wisconsin. That makes me happy. P'raps he can cure Beilema of his issues with timeouts.

He has.  He says he's still going, even though the OC is now the HC at Pitt.

Coaches,

I know that I am a new Bobblehead to this formum but I would like to add a couple of thoughts.

1) Are the USA Today and ESPN polls are really no measure of DLS's success?
2) There hasn't been a high school program in modern history, that actualy traveled out of state, that has experienced Coach Lad and Coach Eidsons level of continued success.
3) What they do and the ennvironment that they have created with those young men goes far beyond what is shown on the football field and that is the true key to their continued success.
4) New Jersey, Florida, Texas? Relly? As a California native, granted the EBAL isn't so tough, but how about the Trinity league and the Southern Section?
5) DLS lost to St. Thomas but with 5 starters out. All of us KoolAid drinkers have to wonder how DLS would have faired against Katy or Don Bosco if they had played in December.

I'm not trying to offend anyone but if you have an oppertunity email Coach LAd or Coach Eidson and go watch what they do. I have done it a few times and they were both, and the players, incredibly helpful, open and gracious. Highly recommend it!!

Did it.  It was awesome.  I picked up all sorts of good stuff.  Going again this year, even though I live in Chicago.
