FB on Fake 33 Quick, 47 Option

Trying to figure out the path here.  DCWT rules say to send him at the outside foot of the left tackle, however I don't see how there is not a collision with the fake 33 Quick.

I misread the post first time, i beleive the fb loads the corners so he can cheat the steps to avoid collision and load outside invert

HB gets there before FB does...

There should be no collision...because if your running it option the WB will be going in what I call a Jumbo motion(behind the FB).

I may be running it wrong but that is how we would do it.

You may have to adjust your timing a little bit. Its not an easy one to get off.  Your issue is going to be the FB getting in the way of your option pitch.

But its easily adjustable with the cadence. FB just has to haul ass out to the CB. And the WB just has to beat the DE. Its a pretty nice play. And don't be afraid to have him pitch it whatever way is comfortable. Underhand, shovel pitch ETC.

Just so we're clear, there's no "FB On" in your play call.

Correct.  FB on would put 2 in the nasty split, right?

I've never used that call so I am not too familiar with it.

I just got your question.   I should have said, "where does the FB go on fake 33, 47 option" ?    Not running "FB on" formation.   Poor choice of words in the subject.

For lurkers, the first read for the QB on "33 Quick, 47 Option" is the "4" tech or wider because LT will block a "3" and LG will block a "2".
