Coach Wilkins is funny. LOL He told me he made a post and wonder if it was okay if he shared how I felt about his system. I really enjoy reading both of his defensive guides he has shared with me. When you have the DC46 and The KB you have great systems to use. Now for Coach JJ Lawson, Cisar, Cox, Hartman, and Mcnew thank you all. All of your systems are very good. I thank every coach that have shared and have been a mentor to me. I didn't know what to expect when I 1st opened the Killer Bee manual. Once I read the history the 1st thing that sold me was the front 7. That alone locked me in because of what I had to deal with this season and what teams will be doing next season. I then looked to see if it was an easy add for the kids and to get across to the coaches. I felt it was and then the secondary section was the part that set me back a bit. I told Clark I had to defuse myself of old thinking to get my head around his rules. He told me to read it once and read it again. Then once I was done to call him. I see why and that's when I was getting my daughter her meal. LOL The system is sound and one that will prepare you for any system. If you play a well coached team you will give them fits. If you play a poor team you will still give them fits. This is a scheme that a DC would be very bored with at a game. The main reason is because it's a self adjusting system. He the DC has a hand full of blitzes and that's it. The defends self adjust itself as the offensive team makes adjustments. The main thing is repping the tech. in practice and using drills to enhance their abilities in this system. People speak of zone...it's some man in there as well. (When it calls for it) This really surprised me when I seen the amount of posts and embrassed in a way because I'm just a youth coach. I never would had thought my input on how I feel about a system would amount to a can of cold beans. LOL Really tho thank you coach for helping and making a great manual.
