If he crabbed across the LOS I wouldnt even have to block him. I hope he does.

Sorry bout that. My bad

I would never have my OG crab for a speed block.

He is needed next level  ;)

The DTs have never made it through in time when we run this play

Even if you've practiced running up-downs?  You know, drop and bear walk on signal, pop up on next signal, etc.?

Maybe if you practiced running them with three guys going down on top of you as soon as you crab.

If we see guys on the ground, we try to shove defenders backward over them.  The pile is your friend.  And we don't care if it's our guy or their guy who is down.  It looks like we're bowling and picking up a spare.

So how did Rocket 38 Power Speed work for you?

Actually, Clark, I don't think this is a play that I would run. I'd rather run Option, Toss, or Screen to get outside strong. I was just showing how I tweaked the rules to satisfy my OCD.

This football thing sure interferes with my work

Why bother?  The DT can't make the tackle and you want the OG upfield blocking someone who can make the tackle.  A crab not only slows him down but allows the DT to run into him and take the OG out of the play.
