Any SWers use IZ blocking?

Instead of wedge or trap for BB runs or FB dives.

I believe Lombardi got his Power Sweep from the SW in which he used an early form of zone blocking -some say- so i wouldnt see why you couldnt. Clarks UBSW has the original blocking rules, you may want to give it a look.

Zone is not designed for a quick hitter like wedge or trap. It has to develop. FB or TB could work. You'd have to work out the issues with foot to foot splits if you use em. Your OL would be stepping all over one another.

I was thinking as using it following a fake jet or spinner. However, you may be right about the line spacing. Maybe could just use regular double team blocks.

If you have a capable back you might be able to get away with Stretch, but I wouldnt try to run tight zone from it
