JVs finish 7-1
« on: November 16, 2013, 09:15:01 PM »
The JV season came to a sudden stop today. Got beat 16-0 , felt like it was 14 vs 11 on the field today as most of the flags went against us and were things we struggled to over come. Defensively we had some big moments including a pick six....but it was called back for a block in the block. We also had some strips and fumble recoveries but the plays were blown dead. We also had a stop but linemen were allowed downfield on pass plays...it was tough.

Ultimately , we had too many bodies down and out to compete and dominate the way we had all year. Attrition is the name of the game.

we started to wings and a fullback who had started all year. we also started our third string jv qb.

it is what it is, too many turnovers (2 picks...)...good year, maybe a great year...but we all wanted to win em all.

Steve,

Were these kids who played on your Freshman team last year?
