Youth blocking system for Slot T?

Slot T question

Other than the 234/236 that has specific blocking assignmebts, think it's possible to GOD block your basic plays if using the Slot T at the 6 year old level? Or would you use another blocking system?

349 is similar to bucksweep. However, if you're talking about a GOD scheme, you "could" pull it off with what they call a "goalline" call which is just having the BSG pull and the FB taking the FSG's assignment.

6 year old  ???
rules blocking  ??? ???

wedge baby!

coach at 6 years old let the other guys go crazy and over think stuff. Really! If you can get 1 thing right and thats all then Id say that one thing should be a little wedge package or series.

theres no passing at this age, realistically and if there is its gonna be a 90% incompletion 10% sac ratio
its already herding cats at this age so dont add to difficulties by complicating the O
Id stick with just 1 formation - maybe introduce another one in a championship or playoffs if applicable - less mesh angles for fumbles
the wedge, believe it or not will be your best yards per play gainer
the sweep will be right there for yards per play...really because the wedge will never or at least should never have a loss of yardage this more than anything helps the averages out the most.

YOU MENTIONED SLOT T ...realistically you could line up in slot t buuuut you will not be running slot t, Id focus on asymmetrical formation- same to left and right. The below formation has a HB right behind the TEs, FB is 2 steps behind QB, HBs are equal with FB.
Your kids may have a "left n right" problem. So introduce 1 backfield base action to right call it RED then show same backfield action to the left called BLUE. So from here you have ...

RED = QB takes snap, faces to his left, FB runs in front of QB towards centers butt, then the left HB runs past QB on sweep action right
BLUE: QB takes snap, faces to his right FB runs in front of QB towards the centers butt, then the right HB runs past QB on sweep left

the 5 linemen block wedge every play, easiest install you can get
the TEs block the first kid ON them when we call sweep, just have them both block the DE on sweep, 1st kid inside on wedge
the HB blocks 1st defender outside the TE when we call sweep to his side

later you can add a QB boot opposite the sweep, chasing the sweep or chasing the FB after faking sweep

Thats about as close to Slot T I can get a wedge based buck lookin 3 back offense

SAB right SAB left SAB to the Center ( wedge)

If you are successful and get them all running in the same direction at the same time you get this-

What is beautiful, lives forever.

He-ya Cat! Ya!

Then you graduate to Beef Cattle! They herd reluctantly! Move Jerk!!

Eventually you get to Dairy Cows and they already know where their going and what time to be there!  Why?  Free Oats!   :P
Not MPP... ONE TASK!  Teach them!  :)
