I've run into two teams that have thrown the fade very well. They both scored touch downs with it, and in both of those games they beat us. Most teams cannot throw it, but it's an awful deflating play at the youth level because it makes the other team look so good. So learning about it is very useful in my opinion.I have had a lot of success throwing the Quick Fade in the Youth game going back to the late 1970's. We also loved it on the Goal Line.

Anyways, is the back shoulder throw a lofted ball to the outside shoulder?Flat throw!

I would think a quick fade to the back of the end zone is a very hard play for a young athlete to defend.
