How to line up against this formation
« on: September 26, 2016, 08:56:33 PM »
My opponent this week runs a package that looks like this.

XOCOOOO
               OOO

    Q

They like to have the Q sweep to the right and send the player labeled X on a post. If Q thinks he can break contain to the left on a defense that overshifts, he will run left. I was thinking about making this an automatic stone call on X. How would you line up against this and what calls would you consider?
Practice makes permanent. Perfect practice makes perfect.

E    C   T N T.    C        E

That's how I'm playing it.  My CBs are going to bump their guy and blitz.  LBs. hit their guy and play ball.  Ends go to deepest back and Fred watches it all.  Should be easy formation to destroy
