If you talk to michael, i beleive almost half the line is in a 2 point already. So what harm would the either half be..

Our rule was tackles always up, in what I call a staggered, edge 2, and guards down if they're covered and up if they're uncovered.

That has an interesting side effect that I don't know if it is by design.
