Defensive Indys with 2 coaches
« on: December 11, 2017, 08:26:42 AM »
I found out that one of my coaches is moving up to JH. So I only have one other coach who was with me last year. With just 2 coaches, how would you handle indy time for defense? Would you just work 2 positions at a time? For example, do DL and DBs for 15 minutes then LB and DE for 15 minutes. Or would you just work in groups? I seem to recall something where Jack Gregory worked his front group, then his back group.

Jack runs his drills with his Front Six and his Back 5.  It depends on your scheme.

Do you split up your offense with line in one group and backs in another?  We do it all the time.

Yeah, I'm not worried about offensive indys. I know that DC has like 4 defensive indy groups. I was planning for 3, but will have to figure on 2 for the time being.

DLs in one group, DBs in another, and LBs back and forth as appropriate.
