Left Handed QB
« on: August 07, 2018, 11:21:45 PM »
Anyone have a left handed QB before in the DCWT?  Looks like I've got one.  I'm guessing it doesn't really change much, but I was thinking he might be killer with a play that uses Trips and has the WB fast motion across to the trips side and then dump a quick pass to the TE on the right.  Might be a bit too much with 7 and 8's, but it seems like a natural throw for a lefty.

I have with a lefty. Nothing changed. I would say throwing right would be easier for lefty though yes.

Yeah my son but he was never a QB in my Offense. He was switched to QB in Middle school. He was our FB who could throw. 27 toss FB pass TE was always open just behind the LBs and everyone bit for the FB.

If your going to train up a lefty make sure on rolls to his right he gets extra depth in the backfield when throwing as the hip flip becomes less needed when he runs forward and rotates his waist.
Most of our plays went left anyway so a lefty QB should play well in this offense.

The balls are harder to intercept as the defense isn't used to the way the ball tails in flight and it throws them off. The receivers may struggle when another back up right handed QB is in though
