Pinnies ~ Worth it?
« on: August 21, 2018, 09:25:49 AM »
So....it s so hard to tell the players apart on O/D when we scrimmage - i think it's a no brainier to have them for at least the skill guys on ) so that the QB can see his targets better

Agree anyone? if you have purchased any - what and where did you get it?

Not sure best place to buy, I would check epicsports.com I buy a lot of stuff from there... but never pinnies.  But yes, it is best to have either those or the bonnets.

I like the helmet pennies because you dont waste any time"getting dressed"

I use them until they literately fall apart. I have found these to be the longest lasting. They are cheaper in February.

I inherited a bunch on pennies, pinnies, scrimmage vests :)

Would I rather have the helmet covers, yup...but they are expensive, so I stick with the scrimmage vests I inherited...
None of them suck, they just haven't found what the kid is good at yet.

We use helmet covers all the time.  Pinnies are too hard to get on an off, especially when sweaty or in pads.

I'm in the same boat with Spidermac.  We were given a large supply of practice jerseys this season. Sizes vary from youth to adult. Colors are white, maroon and silver. After handing out practice jerseys to everyone we still have quite a lot left over.  So, we'll probably take some scissors to the silver jerseys and turn them into pinnies.

I have both, and only use the pinnies when we play flicker football without pads on.  Otherwise, bonnets all day.
