Wedge Passing

How many of you have used Wedge passing in general? and of those lateralled it to the HB/WB and how did it work out?

When our wedge is getting 8 yards or so a carry we run wedge pass. SE runs a fade, qb ducks behind the wedge then steps back and throws it to the SE. We have done it once this season. SE was wide open, qb overthrew him. Good play though.

we run it. its worked pretty well so far as long as we catch it, everyone wants to send the house to stop wedge. i just tell receiver called to run to open grass. we've only used the lateral to hb so far but plan to put it in for the WB too. sometimes we'll just throw a screen pass to se and lateral to hb depending on the way their corners line up.
