Had a great time with Coach Wyatt and his wife Connie.  Had dinner Friday night and the clinic all day Saturday.  I asked Coach Wyatt if he preferred Durham or Knightdale (where we held it last year), as a clinic location.  He said he preferred a location where he could use our kids, so that would be the Knightdale location.  We could have used North Carolina Central University in Durham as a location, but I don't have any players there.  So he chose the more inconvenient location (for him), just in order to use "our" kids.  Coach W and I called several of our former EWHS players to see if they were interested in coming out to a Saturday morning clinic and run an offense they no longer use, from 9:30am until noon.  Coach Wyatt asked for 11 players.  We had 12.  They were coming from 3 different high schools (since some had transferred when we were let go).  Kids did great.  They were on time, respectful and ran the Double Wing to perfection.  It was a great reunion and like Christmas had come early.  Plenty of hugs and Coach Wyatt was extremely complimentary of the kids.  A proud and fun time for Coach W and myself.
