I didnt think he was good at asu.....but whatever....

TT

He wasn't...but never got the classroom coaching. He is a physical specimen that just needs the tutelage...apparently. Plenty of those types have come and gone though. Does he have that it factor? Time will tell.

He reminds me of that QB the Raiders used to have.  I think he was from ASU.  Big & tall.  Big arm.  But he sucked...

Cant remember his name.

Ha.  Google.  Andrew Walter.

W

J Russell...he got paid $40K per pass attempt.  ???

Andrew Walter is correct.

Similar in almost every respect.  Big, tall, went to ASU, didn't play that well in college.  Hype surrounding them mostly because of their size & arm strength.

Meanwhile, Russel the Great has very little hype.  But has that IT FACTOR, that Mahonz is talking about....

QB is a funny position.

Manning is no different, he goes overboard with all the verbage and hand signals at the line.

Pretty crazy.  I think if he's drafted by the Patriots, he has a nice career.  Sometimes it's all about the situation you get drafted into.

Erickson was Oswheilers coach at ASU for one season but he was the backup so didnt have the opportunity to learn anything from him. The only year he started as a JR in 2011...he ran around like a chicken with his head cut off and made plays. Probably why Elway loves the kids...reminds him of his own career.

I have no idea who Freemans coach was...dont even know here he played college ball?
