Flipper Vs Punch?
« on: September 09, 2013, 12:36:57 PM »
When teaching the IZ do you teach using inside flipper or punch? The group of kids I have aren't very strong at the POA and punching has lead to them getting hands smacked down. It was suggested to use inside flipper. Has anyone had any success with this?

A TWO HANDED PUNCH is stronger than a single flipper no matter WHO throws it.

IF you use flippers the defense can GRAB them preventing a blocker from coming off on a LB (if needed).
