Love Alex Gibbs quote in the link.

Gibbs: The corners in our league are just as sh___y tacklers as the corners in your league.

MHcoach,

If you are running stretch right and the playside WRs are running the bubble and stick, have you run into an issue with the OLB or Safety ignoring the bubble and going straight for the RB? IF so, does the QB have the ability to pull the ball and throw the bubble?

Stretch/Power for us, we only run combo's from Pistol. Out of Gun, the QB is the power so he can't pull & throw. When we run it from Pistol & the OLB or SS comes directly at the QB, it's a quick flip to the Bubble or Stick & good night.

Last Season one of the defense's answers was to sink the corner on the Bubble & the OLB attack the QB, that's why we went to combo's. It worked great all Spring against us. In our Spring game the Defense covered the combo's & our QB's gashed them for huge gains.

Now, on Zone read from the Gun the backside WR run the combo's & we still have time to make the throws.
