blocking count

Does anyone have anything showing or describing the count?  I am confused about how 0 is determined and how the  build the count from there versus different fronts.

0 is typically head up on the center or the first defender play side.  Bill Mountjoy (Pearls of Wisdom here) has posted tons of stuff about the count system.  I got the attachment from someone here, I just don't remember who.

Thanks.  I guess my next question is if I am facing a 62 or 42 with the defensive tackles aligned in 2 techniques and the linebackers are aligned in 30's who is 0?

So Zach so does that become a zone then right?  The Center blocks 0, guard 1, tackle 2 and te 3?  And how do you apply the zone scheme to the count?

If your number is first level you have him the whole time

If your number is second level check the closest first level threat with a chip like push to assist the player blocking then climb to second level

We dont combo and come off... we check and climb

If in the process of checking that defender attacks us we stay on and form a double team (in older levels ide teach this as a take over)

Zach I noticed that you ran that spread tackle trap offense by glen harris.  How did you get the middle backer in your 2 x 2 sets?  Also do you still use it or are you blocking zone with it now?

Isn't that who your trapping, or is it a longer trap trapping an end?

Oh ok I remember now

The sab did wonder one of which is build a wall the mike had to get around

Plus the jab step from the back with the threat of keep or follow should be enough to keep that mike occupied
