Crazy win
« on: October 01, 2016, 08:23:42 AM »
The Eagles won a wild one, an instant classic vs Rockville. Final score 42-40 as the Eagles offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage and the Birds controlled the ball for most of the evening. While Rockville played all 11 up near the didn't matter.

The effort of center Jeff Procaccini, Guards Thane Dudzinski, Zach Pragosa, Tackles Tyler Capen and Branden Narciso, tightends Luke Rumley, Nate Flynn and Tito Pasqualoni produced an incredible 70 rushes, 424 yards and 6 rushing tds. Marc Zazzaro had a career high 30 carries for 221 yards, 3 tds, ran for one conversion and threw for another (Mendoza).

Conor Hills carried a career high 20 times for 113 yards and a pair of scores. Josh Mendoza rushed a career high 17 times for 88 yards and a score. Defensively, Zazzaro had an interception, Terra had a sack, Enrique Claudio broke up two passes in the endzone. The Eagles came from behind by methodically "doing what we do." Great win. NO practice today. The Eagles are now 3 and 1.
