Fumbled the ball away on our first two possessions but got two stops to only be down 6-0 at the half.

Came out in the second half, got a stop, drove the field for a score 7-6. Power and wedge.  They broke a long run to go up 12-7.  We took the ball and drove it 70 yards to go up 14-12.

They broke a 50+ yard TD run - they had one very special running back - to score with 2 minutes left to go up 18-14.  The ball was spotted on our 30 and we ran Power from no huddle until we went out of bounds.  We had 2 holding calls, both legit, and a false start, also legit.  We basically went 95 yards in the final 2 minutes, scoring on the last play of the game.  We snapped it with 1.9 seconds on the clock.

Now it's on to the Super Bowl against the defending champs.  They have a QB that's an incredible athlete.  It'll be a challenge but if we play well, anything is possible.  The team we just beat, beat them in OT 3 weeks ago.

This little 5 seed is peaking!

Score on our first drive and converted to go up 7-0.  Held their stud QB in check for the first half but they shut us down too.  Halftime 7-0.

We were inside their 15 yard line as the 3rd quarter ended with a chance to go ahead by two scores.  They stopped us and took over on downs.  Their QB finally got loose and scored but we stopped the conversion, 7-6 good guys.

We drove the ball again and ran clock.  We got across midfield and self destructed.  False start, holding, false start, finally we punted - declared punt.  We stood up and they punted to us with about 3:30 left in the game.  Against anyone else, it's game over but this team had an outstanding defense.  They stopped us, calling timeouts to stop the clock so we didn't take much time off the clock.

Their QB broke loose again and they scored with 2:00 left to go up 12-7.  We stopped the conversion.  Last week we we in a similar situation and were able to win the game, this week we couldn't duplicate it.  Their defense limited our big plays and our stud got hit hard enough that he started tiptoeing a little and looking for the hit instead of delivering the contact.

From our own 40, trying to preserve timeouts, we thought we might could sneak a sweep pass over thier corner since their defense was coming downhil so fast.  Thier stud QB was also their safety and he picked it.  Game over.  We couldn't compete with their team speed but our defense, which has been suspect, held them to their lowest point total in the last 2 seasons.

0-8 as 6 years olds, 2-4 this season but close in most games, to going on a run in the playoffs to make the Super Bowl. We shocked everyone in the league.  It was kind of fun!
