Our closest away games are about a 2 hour drive with the furthest being 4 hours. We are based in Grand Rapids, MI. We travel to Ann Arbor, Detroit, NW Ohio, North side of Indianapolis and the rural towns just south of Chicago.
Our conference is weird. We arent actual schools. We are the private school kids who dont have a team and homeschool kids. Our 25 players come from 8 different schools and 12 homeschool kids. We have 4 kids who have never played before. 3 kids who are 14 years old. Our entire Oline is 3 freshman and 2 sophmores. As much as I'd love for our team to get the respect that more traditional public school teams get but so many of these boys wouldnt have the chance to play if not for our team. I do love being able to give these kids the chance to play learn and play.
2 of our guys from last years team went on to play college ball this year. By MHSAA rules they werent allowed to play for any public school teams unless they transferred from their academically top rated private school that does not offer athletics.
