The Art of Pursuit
« on: August 12, 2019, 01:47:26 PM »
Here is a 9-minute and 19-second clip of my little league defense in 2009.  You should see two primary aspects of our defense in every single play: pursuit and the pursuit of the kill shot/death blow/big hit.  What you will not see:  Anyone breaking down.  We are pursuing the football and if the ball-carrier still has it by the time we arrive, we are looking to physically separate him from the football.  These are 9 to 11 year-olds.

Don't tell me you cannot teach pursuit.  It can be an art form.

"The Greater the Teacher, the More Powerful the Player."

The Mission Statement:
"I want to show any young man that he is far tougher than he thinks, that he can accomplish more than what he dreamed and that his work ethic will take him wherever he wants to go." #BattleReady newhope
