Zoe

Tone can often be mistaken in print.  I am just asking:

So even if you had a hat for the that 9 tech, you still would not run OZ?  If not, under what circumstances would you?

Thanks

Under what circumstance does the  9 tech not have contain, Not to mention on the weakside?
you put him out there to bring him inside? WHY? he is not going to make the play regardless of the athletes that he is.
And at that I am not saying not to run it, I am saying that you are missing the point with zone plays if you try and make the ball go outside. LIKE TOSS SWEEP. OZ is not a sweep play, it is an off tackle play first and foremost.

You misunderstood what i wrote.  I am not suggesting OZ is a sweep play.

So are you saying you would run OZ at a 9 or not?

Sorry Zoe,

You already answered my question.

Thanks

You can run it weak,  the footwork is a little different for the tackle but it can done, the oline coach for the saints talks about this in either 09 or 10 cool clinic dvd or manual.
