When Clady was a rookie Peppers was still with Carolina and told the press that #78 was one of the best OT's he had faced in years.

By the way, we handle that issue on a run play to an open edge pretty much the same way, except it's basically a square pull (around a ghost TE) rather than a kick-slide.

Interesting tip, it would certainly keep you low.  Possibly it would slow you down.  I will experiment with it. 

So you direction step, graze the ground, step/hit?
you bring you hands from the ground to the defender directly. Its no different than than cocking your elbows.The difference is the angle from which the hands come from. Now I dont pull. Pulling changes that. But in-line blocking it does wonders for pad level.
