The monster should probably be the best player because youre going to move him around.

Imo any odd defense starts right there in the middle, the noseguard

Im going to turnit right back around on you!

In all honesty, the way I look at defense is different that a HS Coach and above does.  The vast majority of youth football is spent attacking the Edge of the defense (OT and Sweep).  Especially at the very young ages.  So with that in mind where would you put your better defenders?  ;) 
Not MPP... ONE TASK!  Teach them!  :)

In youth ball I agree with this. Ends then backers.

For me DE is the most important spot to fill. 

A monster LB traditionally has been no different for us than an OLB.  Our OLB is usually a SS/LB hybrid type.
