Look at The Assembly Line by Milt Tenopir.  It's basically Nebraska's playbook from during the Osborne years, from an O-Line perspective.

I thought I had the Nebraska playbook... but I can't find it.  Seems like it is posted on here somewhere.   Search Nebraska on here.

Coach just a heads up  Nebraska was a zone double option team (and a masterpiece at that) , not triple option,

However that being said if I were to go back to option it would be the Nebraska option

Fast and furious has a copy of the 96 Nebraska play book.  The play you are looking to run is a Belly Option (Down or Load) from the I.  Nifty little play that adds a whole new dimension to the I.  I am working on it as we speak.

Jem at was 105 degrees in the sun at 5:30 pm.  I canceled practice tonight. Even Kyle's HS team waited until 7:00pm to do walk troughs under the lights.  At this rate it wont snow until January!!  Typical fickle Mid Western weather.  We had lows in the 50's at night a couple of weeks ago.  Supposed to be in the mid 70's next week.

Supposed to be in the high 90's tomorrow as well.  I'd melt out there...might take a couple of month's but I'd melt.  LOL

Hope all is well.

I digress:  Nebraska uses a Pin and Pull for the Option.  I modified it to a Load Option.  Pin and Pull need to be worked from the get go, since I did not do so, and don't use Zone schemes,  the logical step for me was Loading.

Be that as it were, the Option form the I can be deadly!!  We averaged 9 yards per attempt in very limited use.  I plan to incorporate it more next season, if I am still the OC. Since there is a good chance that we will be blending staffs next year, odds are that I will be moving back to the Defensive side of the ball.

Thanks,

Coach, JRTitan on here has a most excellent I Wing playbook.  It contains Both Veer, and Belly/Trap Option (Nebraska type being discussed).  It's has rules, coaching points, and diagrams against common fronts.  It's well put together.  Also has Power and Sweep stuff.  And, if I recall, midline as well.  He emailed to to me, and I have it, but haven't even asked him if it was ok to share.

Coaching HS now.  We run DW from the shotgun spread, and 3-4 Defense.

Looked for it online.  The copy found for sale was only about $750.
