i'm a Delaware wing T guy invading your board. but i'm curious about how the Pro Style guys practice the personnel groups, formations, shifts, and plays.

our practice has a lot of moving parts since we are true Delaware - option, inside run, outside run, 3 step. so it cant be that dissimilar to what you guys do.....

can someone run down a typical (non-installation day) Pro Style Practice?

I'll look for what Coach Mountjoy was kind enough to send me. It was a two hour practice breakdown. It wasn't completely detailed. It's really not that complicated. Indy to small group to large group to team.

Usually its similiar to del wing t...

Individual time
Group time (install/review)
Group run and group pass ala 9v7 and 7v7
Situational team...from the 30 out...20 in
..4 min offense...2 min offense ect

Its very basic in nature, devils in the details...most emphasize the run or pass game more then the 70% run and 30% pass and vice versa

Group time i see a lot of soft 9v7 with walk through jog through.

Mind you this is high school and college where a scout team is readily avail. For youth you have to be creative.
