I think I mentioned the rule adopted by the Bronx Warriors PeeWee Div. in 2015: A free kick had to touch the ground or a player within 20 yards of K's line, or R could take the ball 20 yards in front of K's line.  K also had the option of giving the ball to R 25 yards beyond K's line instead of kicking, and they always took that option unless they wanted to try onside.  I may have gotten those last 2 distances wrong.
