8 Man Football (BSW or UBSW)
« on: January 06, 2019, 11:30:19 PM »
Hello All,

I'm coaching a middle school team this year in a 8 man football league. This will be our 2nd year of existence so talent and numbers are not quite their yet. I'm thinking of running the UBSW. Anyone have any experience with this?

Note, I've purchased the Dave Cisar material and have made a couple of adjustments. Focusing on UBSW Right but am concerned about the weak side. To compensate I will be putting a 1 foot split in for the left TE. This should push the DE out a little and slow down pressure from the weak side.

Any thoughts?

Thank You,

Coach Garner

Thanks for the link . I downloaded this video about 2 months ago and have been studying it closely. There's actually a second part too it as well. I've also researched the coach for tis team and his carrier. Pretty successful at the 8 man HS level. Still looking for some middle school, 8 man single wing stuff (BSW & UBSW)

Thanks again for the link.
