G

That is awesome.  :)

We should have been at Lambo to see a game in 1986 I think? That was a Strike Season and it was iffy if they would even play so we didnt make the trip. I do remember we also had plans to go to Pitt or maybe Cleveland and that game was cancelled.

Glad those days are well behind us NFL Fans....I hope.

That year really pissed me off. I remember going to a Broncos home game and some of the players were picketing outside the stadium. Kids were trying to get autographs and the players were telling them no. Ugly. Lost a lot of respect for a few Broncos that day. Whatever is going on you never dis a kid.

Mecklenberg actually signed an autograph for a kid and when he saw him going into the game, he took it back. Lost all respect for him that day.
Mission Statement: To create a Football Family that our players and parents can't imagine not being a part of.

Mike--Sorry to hear about the move. Family is everything. I think Jr's gonna miss his Dad a lot. Maybe you can fly in on weekends...

I just read through this thread and I wanted to provide my sentiments, for whatever help they may be.

As for Wisconsin, I used to travel there quite frequently for work. Up to Green Bay and into Kewaunee. I wouldn't recommend going in February (wasn't that a fun trip?!?!) but going to a game in Lambeau in September is not to be missed. If you're going to tailgate (and why in the world wouldn't you?!), make sure you grab some fresh bratwurst from any local spot and some hamburger patties as well.

Best of luck to you M.

My Son started his new job on 6/8. Really likes it. His wife and kids are still here. Im on Kid Duty and savoring every moment while she finishes up her work commitments. They will all be gone by 8/1.  :(

I will most certainly make a Game at Lambo. Looking forward to that for sure.  :)

Park at Sammy's pizza for the game, easy walk to the stadium, it costs $15, but you get a $15 voucher for the restaurant and they make a good pizza.

Gents

Just got back from Baraboo Wisconsin. Jr and his family have a nice place right by the schools and are settling in. Their back yard is a football field....literally. The two youngest...3 and 5...still think they are on vacation.  Was impressed how well maintained the facilities are. Was impressed with how well maintained everything is....everywhere I went every blade of grass is perfectly mowed all the time..... never seen so much mowing going on in my life. My take...the Farmers work their butts off all Spring planting....all Summer mowing their enormous yards...all Fall harvesting and all Winter shoveling.

Beautiful area....too dang humid though. Wasn't expecting that. I'll stick with my 6% relative humidity.

Really nice people too. Amazing.

Football starts for them on Thursday....Jr will have 3 kids in the program. I think they are going to have a blast.
