See, we call that play a different name. We call it iso. I am pretty sure we run it exactly the same way as you call belly. It's a fullback dive to the weak side. The linemen cross block, and the play hits the B gap. The QB reverse pivots, and the fullback takes a side step before hitting the hole. The halfback leads through the hole, and the center attempts to reach the MLB while the rest of the line is reach b locking. That's belly?

You've just described belly XB. Tackle trap is the counter off that action.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

The reason I would not call it Iso is because there are different Iso plays in the wing-t.  Belly Iso is the best one (Belly Iso, Belly XBL).  You could make a living running nothing more than Belly Iso, Belly Keep Pass and Counter.  80 Series is my favorite one in the wing-t.  My goodness - Belly Iso, Belly XBL, Belly Down, Belly Keep Pass, Belly Sweep, Belly Option...  Even running the DW now I still like having my wing-t in there.  Belly Down is such a perfect compliment to the Power play.

My goodness, there is a ton of stuff you can check out in the downloads section.  My playbook is in there, but what trumps that is the Delaware playbook there.  Ask questions.  I love talking everything wing-t, dw and sw.

I have a few favorites so we run them all - WB Counter, Counter Criss-Cross, Jet Truck and maybe next year CTXX off the jet.

you can run XX off of buck as well:

Backfield runs standard 21 sweep, Wing Back drop steps takes an inside handoff from the Left Halfback

OL Blocks standard counter G/TE Pull..

It may be better to run 128 CTXX if you do not have 132 in the offense.

Unless you know you are going to be facing the 6-2 with boxing ends.  Then it is worth it.  That's the only reason we put it in the first year.

A lot of guys don't think you can, but waggle is a great goalline play.
