Elk River (MN) - T Formation
« on: November 19, 2016, 03:27:43 PM »
Just got back from watching a number of Minnesota State Playoff games and ran across a team from Elk River that intrigued me with their offense.  What little I know it looks like the Olivet Power T, but I may be mistaken.  In any case it looked very solid and seems to me would be a great youth offense.  Here is some video of it (Team in White):

That's the power-T that is so common here in Michigan.

Got it wasn't showing up then next time I looked a few hours later it was up.  Thanks  Great video and great execution

It looked very similar to the Bay City T playbook (40-41) but I haven't looked at the Olivet T but will be soon.

I just wanted to say that I love the fact that this game was Elk River versus Coon Rapids. And here I thought Bumpass Virgnia was the pinnacle of town names.

The names are pretty comical!

Thanks for sharing this.  The video quality and different replay angles are excellent for showing how this offense is run.  This will be very useful for me and my assistants.

That trap was awesome. Beyond simply beating their blocks, there was nothing the defense could do.  They had a hat on every guy who could make the play. And then add in the quality of the fakes, most of the defense had no idea where the ball was.
