IT Ninja (and no, they will not let me wear the uniform to work)

Been married to a woman with divine patience for 11 years. Anyone who puts up with me for that long deserves a metal. I'm such a jerk I would leave myself if I could. Two boys, 6 and a baby 9 months.

According to my Republican Precinct Committee Chairman card, I'm a "Retired gunfighter and part time Indian chief."

In reality I retired at age 29 as a partner in Lyon, Wilkins & Co, a Dunn and Bradstreet Investment firm.  That was back in 1981 when a recession hit.  I was specialist in Portfolio Risk Management and which explains my application of risk analysis and mathematics to all my football systems. I still do contract work regarding real estate which I bought during that recession.

The wife still works (One of us has to get Social Security/Medicare.   8) ).

It allowed me by 1990 to coach my oldest son as I could make every practice and every game.  I found I liked putting smiles on player's faces, see them work hard towards a goal of pride, and I enjoyed beating the bad guys.  So here I am.

Happy Belated Birthday Coach Potter..

I am an Operational Engineer in a Telecom Company.

In other words:

1) Sales sells it for way too little money to make a profit
2) Sales Engineering validates their B.S. and forgets about 20% of the costs
3) We get it and try like hell to do it on the cheap without sacrificing:

                  a) Quality
                  b) Timeliness
                  c) Thoroughness

we usually fail miserably but every once in a while we fail a little less substantially and it is those victories that buoy us and carry us through :)

Science professor, married with 3 boys, and I am called CoachDoc by the older kids (i.e. college) instead of Dr. and my last name, as they think I teach like a coach, lol.  Younger kids never call me that, but at work it sticks.
