We did have 4 Academic Hall of Famers (all A’s)and 2 Academic Honors (A’s and B’s). One of our players was also given our league’s Sportsmanship Award voted on by the officials.

I was happy to dish out the cash to purchase the Academic Trophy’s and Medals for those deserving because it is important to me.

So you did this, yet they fired you anyway?  Well at least they know what matters.  ::)

I enjoy coaching youth, but have considered volunteering with the HS or MS. I don’t have goals of getting paid to do this, as I need my full Time income.

I am also on the board and am the VP of the program along with the baseball commissioner in the spring, so there is that.

I have a full time job as an accountant.  And I coach basketball at a middle school (a paid position).  You can do both if you want to and if (big if) your full time job allows for some flexible hours during the season.
