Craziest Play in our youth fb league this spring
« on: May 04, 2018, 02:31:21 PM »
This is the old snap it over your head, hit the opponent helmet and score play.  These are the two top teams in our 8U division.  The white team has only been scored on twice by my team on a 10 minute drive using Single Wing / Beast formations and this crazy play.

In the video the play is full speed and then replayed slowed down and zoomed in.  Enjoy.

Out of 20 plus year coaching youth football, I think this might be the craziest plays I've seen.  I know it must be top craziest 5 plays.  How about you guys?

Thanks,
Parker

LOL ! Just like they drew it up.  :D

Im thinking it was an illegal forward pass but hey....the Refs were probably lost too !
Collect moments, not wins.

I just tried to see if the ball went forward, looked like it just went straight up.

Although I do wonder if it was legal.  Definitely stayed on their side of the LOS...

Hey, if the DL was more like most youth teams, would have hit the OL in the head.  That'll teach them (DL) to get off the ball that quickly.

I think we once had an official who actually understood the holding rule. That made for a pretty strange day. We'd score touchdowns and they'd actually count.
