We Finally Played
« on: September 29, 2018, 09:52:35 PM »
So we finally got around to playing our second game of the season, after delays, cancellations, hurricanes and school make-up days.  Tonight we gave up 6 touchdowns to one player who was the best player on the field.  He could do it all, and all of his TDs came on really long 1-and-done plays.  Fortunately, 2 of his TDs were called back on penalties.  So we won 39-25.  We scored on every possession except 2, where we got stopped at their 7-yard line and fumbled away the ball on their 9.  Other than that, it was Touchdown City.  But we had nothing for their kid; he could have scored every time he wanted to.  I'm just glad they didn't feed him the ball more.  Puts us at 2-0 on the season.
